Why is Scripture important? We find Holy Scripture – the Old and New Testament – commonly known as the Bible, is a guide for placing us in right relationship with God, other people, and all creation. Through prayerful reading of Scripture, we seek to know Jesus Christ and make him known. This is the way of love and compassion.
We give glory to God for those times when we’ve honored the work of the Holy Spirit in serving others well. At times we fail miserably in our work of serving God and others. With the help of God, we continue in the Spirit that guides us in the way of love and compassion.
